Pricing can be rather subjective when it comes to design in general, and especially when it comes to flyers. In the years that we have been creating event and music related artwork, we have found that setting standardized pricing can result in problems for both the client and designer. Most of our flyers come out to be within a pretty consistent price range, however that can vary on complexity or simplicity. For clients who order several flyers a week or month, we also offer discounted rates. Frequently Asked Questions
What is an average turn around time?
An average turn around time is anywhere from 5-10 business days, depending on our current work load. Often we will complete the flyer in much less than that. If you have a specific deadline, let us know that and we will always do our best to work within that time frame. We also offer rush design services for an additional fee if you’re really behind schedule.
Do you give out editable files?
No, we only give out the flattened artwork, as is standard practice in the design industry. If we are creating an admat for you, then we will offer a PSD file with editable text and fonts included, however the artwork will be mostly flattened to ensure consistency at all tour dates.
Do you require a deposit?
With new clients we require a deposit of 50% to commence work on a project, and then the remaining balance due upon completion of the project. Final files and artwork will be sent once the final payment is received.
How do you accept payment?
Good news! We can accept payment in just about any form that you prefer. We can take your credit or debit card over the phone. Or you can pay us via PayPal through our invoicing system. And we can of course take checks too. Once we have confirmed your quote, and are ready to commence work we will go over the details of the best way to transfer your deposit so we can get started!
Do you offer printing?
We offer top of the line digital offset flyer printing and can have your project shipped directly to your door. All flyers are printed on premium card stock paper, with a semi-gloss or UV high-gloss coating. We offer multiple sizes, and can print just about anything else you would need. Shipping options include everything from regular ground shipping to Delta Dash express shipping. Just check the box that you are interested in printing when completing the order form, or contact us for a same-day quote.
How many revisions do I get?
As a general rule of thumb we limit the amount of revisions to 3 rounds. After the third round of revisions additional costs can be added to the final balance for the project. With our custom flyer order form, we hope to collect all the information up front so we can work to eliminate multiple rounds of time consuming revisions.
Do you design other things? Logos? Websites?
Yes, as we are a part of a design firm, we are also able to offer additional design services. We design websites, and just about any print or marketing collateral that you can imagine. For more information about our other design services, contact us and we can chat!
Will I get an invoice or receipt?
Yes upon receipt of payments, you will receive an invoice/receipt of the transaction for your records.
How will proofs be sent?
Watermarked proofs will be sent via email in PDF or JPG format to the email address provided.
How is the final artwork sent?
We can send the final artwork in any necessary format that you would require. Our standard artwork delivery (via email) would include:
• High resolution print-ready files in JPEG or PDF format.
• Low resolution web-ready file in JPEG or PNG format.
• Any additional sizes or formats required.
Do you offer package or monthly pricing?
Yes, depending on how many projects or flyers you are interested in we can offer significant savings for you and your company. For many nightclubs, bars, promoters, and artists that are in need of multiple projects per week or month we are happy to work with you on multi-project pricing or on a retainer. Do you tag the flyers?
By default we always tag the flyers with a small tag (Artwork by www.flyerdepartment.com). It can be removed upon request.
